The 6-Hour Twilight Endurance race returns in 2026, building on the success of our previous 12-hour electric indoor race. This new event introduces a mid-season 6-hour competition on our indoor and outdoor track at K1 Speed Canton, Canton, OH. This endurance race features timed pit stops and a reverse track direction at the halfway point. The race will run rain or shine; if outdoor conditions become too wet, the race will continue indoors until conditions improve. The race format includes 6 hours of endurance racing using arrive-and-drive electric go-karts with high-capacity lithium batteries. Teams must have a minimum of 2 drivers, with 8 drivers or less recommended. Every driver on the roster must complete at least one timed lap. Included with your team entry are performance-equalized rental karts and helmets, transponders, 6 hours of track time, real-time battery telemetry, and awards for the top 3 teams. Race suits, shoes, and neck braces are optional equipment, and personal helmets are recommended. Prize money is not awarded for this event. Registration opens May 1 with a $100 deposit required. Online registration closes August 30, and final team payments are due then. The event schedule on Friday, September 11 (subject to change), begins with the venue opening at 12:00. Optional practice sessions, purchased separately, run from 4:30 to 5:30. A driver's meeting is at 5:30 PM, followed by qualifying and driver introductions at 6:00 PM. The green flag drops at 6:30 PM, and the checkered flag is at 12:30 AM. Each team entry costs $900. Teams are responsible for their pit stop and kart swap strategy and communication. Team radios are recommended but not required. Each team must have a device capable of accessing the battery telemetry website and a device capable of communicating with race control via chat.
