The 2026 TA Warp @ NCCAR event is a Time Attack and Track Day held at NCCAR in Garysburg, NC, on October 10-11, 2026. This Halloween Extravaganza will feature a Trunk or Treat, costumes, and a family spooktacular. Rob Wilmoth is the Event Lead and can be contacted at rob.wilmoth@gmail.com for questions. On-track, Time Attack drivers will compete for the best single lap on the 2-mile NCCAR track during lapping sessions and participate in a point-to-point TrackSprint event. The TrackSprint offers three attempts at an autocross-like run on a portion of the course, often in the opposite direction. Combined best times from at least one Time Attack session each day and the TrackSprint will determine finishing order, with trophies for the top three overall and in each class. Track Day drivers will share the 2-mile NCCAR track with Time Attack sessions, with an option to upgrade to Time Attack at any time. All participants will receive a transponder for gridding and cleaner on-track sessions, though times will not be published for Track Day competitors. Off-track, spectators are welcome and have access to a spectator area to the right of the timing tower. All participants will receive a hot dog, brat, or hamburger lunch each day, and a BBQ social will be held on Saturday evening. Volunteers are encouraged to help as Corner Workers, TA Tech Officials, or Timing gurus, and will receive goodies such as an option to enjoy their car on track during Worker Lapping sessions or $50 per day of VIP access. The schedule is tentative and subject to change; please listen for PA announcements. Sunday afternoon untimed sessions may be combined or canceled based on participation or weather. Pricing for both Time Attack and Track Day participants is $399 for SCCA members and $424 for non-members for both days, or $239 for SCCA members and $264 for non-members for one day. Time Attack participants are timed, while Track Day participants are not. The SCCA strives to ensure a welcoming environment for all participants, upholding equality and freedom from harassment. Any information provided during registration or displayed on a car that is deemed vulgar, offensive, or inconsistent with SCCA values may result in removal or requests for modification.
