The 2026 SCCNH Hillclimb #2 will take place at Mt Ascutney State Park, Windsor, Vermont. This event features a three mile adventure on a private road, allowing participants to drive uphill at speed. Classes range from unmodified cars to full race and formula cars. The event will run the traditional course. Registration is $230. A club membership is required if you are not already a member of SCCNH or a sister club; this costs an additional $20 and is valid for all of 2026. First-time hillclimb participants are eligible for a $25 registration discount. Volunteers are needed for the event; you can bring a worker or register as a worker. Participants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license. Before selecting a car number, please check the NEHA reserved number list. Complete event rules are available via the NEHA Rules link. The schedule includes tech inspection on Friday from 5 PM until dusk, with a mandatory rookie orientation at 5:30 PM. Make-up tech inspection is on Saturday from 6:45 AM to 7:30 AM. Worker meetings are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at 7 AM, followed by driver meetings at 7:30 AM on both days. The normal finish time for Saturday and Sunday is between 4 PM and 5 PM. Camping is handled directly by Mt Ascutney and can be reserved by calling the Reservation Call Center at 1-888-409-7579 Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM. Camping opens to the public one month prior to the event. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the event; they must be on a non-retractable 6-foot leash or a retractable leash locked at 6 feet when outside of your campsite. Within your campsite, dogs must be on a leash that keeps them within the site, held or attached to a non-moving object. Owners must clean up after their pets and ensure they are current on rabies vaccinations. Event organizers may remove disruptive, destructive, aggressive, or ill animals. Pet owners are fully responsible for their pets, and SCCNH and NEHA are not liable for incidents or injuries.
