Piloti presents the 2026 MiataCon at Lime Rock Park, a two day MX-5 Miata only racing and HPDE event. The event takes place Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, CT. This event will feature four races over two days with 3-4 on track sessions each day. A 1 hour 15 minute MiataCon Enduro is available, which requires a stop and offers an optional driver change. The MiataCon Enduro features a race format that rewards both consistency and speed. A $20,000+ contingency purse is available from Lime Rock Park, SCDA Track Days, Piloti, Hoosier, and Lime Rock Drivers Club. Miata racecar rentals are available for this event. Classes and run groups for the event include: Group 1 Spec Miata for fully compliant Spec Miatas only; Group 2 Open Exhibition NC/ND for MX-5 racecars with an eligible logbook or certification and an open tire rule, which also includes the LRDC Member's Race; Group 3 Open Exhibition NA/NB for racecars with an eligible logbook or certification and an open tire rule; the MiataCon 75-minute Enduro, which is open to all racecars in the groups above and has an open tire rule; and Group 4 HPDE MX-5 Miata, which is open to all MX-5 Miata street cars and racecars meeting sound and convertible rollbar requirements. HPDE drivers must have 15+ track days of experience, and a race license is not required. HPDE drivers have the option to drive one or both days. All racers must hold a valid competition license or waiver from SCDA. Acceptable competition licenses include FIA, SCCA, NASA, BMWCCA, PCA, IMSA, SRO, USAC, and NASCAR. MiataX on the FCP Proving Grounds is available as an optional add-on for Friday and Saturday. Car corrals will be available. MiataCon entry fees are $749 for the two-day race groups. The HPDE group is $749 for both days or $439 per day. The optional 1 hour 15 minute MiataCon Enduro and practice is $149 for registered drivers. Co-drivers may be added for an additional $149. All cars must be muffled to 88dB. Car Chemistry inserts can help reduce sound by 2-5dbs. Hoosier Tire East will be at the event for sales and service.
