The 2026 Golden Sands Spookycross will be held at Golden Sands Speedway in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. This is a night event, so all competing cars must have working headlights. The event is pre-registration only; on-site registrations will not be accepted. To compete in the Spookycross, you must also participate in Track-or-Treat. The Central Wisconsin Sports Car Club will provide candy for registered competitors, but participants are welcome to bring their own. Track-or-Treat is open to the public, and you do not need to compete in the Spookycross to enter a car in Track-or-Treat. Simply arrive with your own candy to distribute. The schedule is as follows: 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM for Tech, Check-in, and Staging for Track-or-Treat. Track-or-Treat runs from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A mandatory Driver's Meeting will be held at 5:30 PM. The Spookycross begins at sundown, specifically 5:47 PM. The event concludes after the last competitor completes their run. An awards ceremony will follow for Best Individual Costume, Best Group Costume, Best Dressed Car, and Fastest Autocross times in each class. All competitors are required to corner work for at least one heat. The registration cost for the Spookycross is $35. The 2026 Central Wisconsin Sports Car Club annual membership is $40 and includes one free autocross or ice rally entry, free entry to the 2026 Club Banquet, a preferred car number for the season, random raffle drawings at events, and extra raffle tickets at Cars & Coffee events. The club uses SCCA Solo Classing. Spectators are welcome provided they sign the waiver and remain in designated areas. Minor children are permitted with a completed minor-waiver release form, and parents or guardians are responsible for their children at all times.
