The 2026 Championship Autocross Event #6 takes place at Rt. 66 Raceway in Joliet, IL. Registration is from 7:15 am to 8:15 am, worker assignment from 7:20 am to 8:20 am, and tech inspection from 7:15 am to 8:40 am. Course walking is available from 7:30 am to 8:55 am, with no new course walks beginning after 8:50 am, except for morning worker staff. A novice course walk is scheduled for 8:40 am. The drivers meeting and first heat worker check-in is at 9:00 am, with the first car off at 9:15 am. The event typically concludes around 5:00 pm. All competitors must pre-pay on MotorsportReg; cash or credit card payments are not accepted on site. Your card will be charged 24 hours before the event. To receive a full refund, you must cancel by 7:00 am on the event day. All other exceptions are at the Board's discretion, with prompt communication being the most important factor. A hard registration cut-off is at 8:15 am on the event day, and prompt arrival is required to hold your pre-registration. Drivers arriving after 8:15 am may not have time to walk the course, and the waitlist will be filled starting at this time. Entry fees are $52 for Chicago Region SCCA Member Early Registration, closing four days before the event, and $57 for Week Of Registration, closing one day before the event. On-site registration for members is $70. Non-member Early Registration is $72, Week Of Registration is $77, and On-Site Registration is $90. These non-member fees include an SCCA Weekend Membership. Numbers 100-199 are reserved for two-driver cars; please select an available number in your class between 1-99 and 200-999. Novice Class and Ladies Class drivers run and work with their standard class. New driver liaisons will be available throughout the event; arrive between 7:00 am and 7:30 am and listen for announcements. The event runs rain or shine in all temperatures, but will be temporarily suspended if lightning is observed in the immediate area. Bring appropriate gear for all weather conditions and something to cover or secure your belongings, such as plastic garbage bags or a tarp.
