The 13th Annual Midwest Freeze Frame Scale Model Nationals will be held at the Classic Cafe Event Center in Fort Wayne, IN. This event includes a model vehicle competition, a Picture Car Show, vendors, and concessions. Vendor setup is on Saturday at 7am. Model vehicle registration is open from 9am to 12pm. The entry fee is $5 for the first model and $2 for each additional model. Divisions are Rookie (12 and under), Junior (13-17), Adult (18 and older), Senior (65 and older), and Women (all ages). Awards will be given for Gold, Silver, and Bronze in each class, with additional Specialty Awards for Best of Show, Best Engine, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Military, People's Choice, DJ Choice, Pinstripper's Choice, and Queen's Choice. Door prizes and awards will be presented at 3:30pm. A "Make & Take" activity, sponsored by Pharoahs "Da Birds," will allow kids to build a model to take home. The Picture Car Show has a $10 entry fee and includes a dash plaque. Attendees can bring a picture of their show car to enter if weather conditions prevent driving it. Vendors will offer model kits, model parts, toys, collectibles, diecast, and Hotwheels. Vendor and swap tables can be reserved for $20 each. Sponsors are welcome.
